United Finishers, Inc. was founded in 1991 to offer custom finished wooden bed rails for the furniture industry. As a sister company to Gross Veneer Sales, operating in High Point, NC since 1954, United Finishers, Inc. quickly gained the respect of many of the industry leaders. As a result of our expertise in custom finishing and short lead times, United Finishers continues to thrive even in today’s competitive import market.
In 1999, United Finishers International, Inc. was established with the focus of becoming a front-runner in the emerging global market and remaining competitive for years to come. To make this focus a reality, a manufacturing facility in Mexico was procured, a manufacturing partnership in Paraguay, South America was forged and sourcing/engineering offices in Chile, Brazil and Southeast Asia were founded.
In an effort to further diversify the product line and capitalize on a vast sourcing infrastructure, United Finishers International, Inc. began offering high-end all wood kitchen cabinets and furniture vanities in early 2006. Within just a couple of years, UFI became one of the top cabinet producers for multi-family developers in the Southeast. In an effort to meet all aspects of design, a finishing line was established in our High Point, NC facility, which gives us the ability to offer a competitively priced turnkey service from design through installation to our customers.
